hello, awesome

so, when i saw this Chronicle Books 'Haul-idays' Giveaway on Oh Hello Friend the other day, i had a major happy attack. AND thought it a perfect way to get back into blogging after a tiny bit of a break. (completely unintended by the way. actually have had some time off since there's been a bit of a work lull, but just somehow haven't had the itch to scratch in the realm of blogging.) basically, the deal is, a blogger creates a list of Chronicle Book items in total under $500, enters AND if she/he wins, someone who comments on the post as well, wins the entire haul. (!!!)

BUT, when it came time to putting together the list, keeping it under $500, it took me forever, forever. since i'm combining books with stationery and other oddities, it was really hard to get it down to the right amount. (me + visions of disney pixar art books = a bad idea and lots of $$.) just an hour ago, i finally got my list right at about $500; $499.15 to be exact, hehe.
